Ramiro Monteiro is the Lead Pastor at the International Church of the Nazarene since 2013. Prior to that he served as Associate pastor for 3 years in the same church.
Born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde he started his ministry in 2001 after his study at the Nazarene Seminary. In the first years of his ministry he was responsible for organizing the Church of the Nazarene in a small village called Ponta do Sol, on the island of Santo Antão.

After that he served as Associate pastor for four years in the church of the Nazarene in Mindelo where he grew up.
He was ordained in 2007 and married in 2009 to Elisabeth Monteiro. Together, they have three children: Benjamin, Sarah and Larah.
Serving is his passion and to be involved in the process of making Christ like disciples is his goal.
