Rev. Monteiro ~ Lead Pastor
Ramiro Monteiro is the Lead Pastor at the International Church of the Nazarene since 2013. Prior to that he served as Associate pastor for 3 years in the same church.
Born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde he started his ministry in 2001 after his study at the Nazarene Seminary. In the first years of his ministry he was responsible for organizing the Church of the Nazarene in a small village called Ponta do Sol, on the island of Santo Antão.
After that he served as Associate pastor for four years in the church of the Nazarene in Mindelo where he grew up.
He was ordained in 2007 and married in 2009 to Elisabeth Monteiro. Together, they have three children: Benjamin, Sarah and Larah.
Serving is his passion and to be involved in the process of making Christ like disciples is his goal.
Rev. Baptista ~ Associate Pastor
Orlando Baptista served as an Associate Pastor at the International Church of the Nazarene from March 2017 until March 2022, returning to his home country, Cape Verde, for a period of one and a half years. He returned to the United States and continues as an associate pastor at the same church, the International Church of the Nazarene, since November 2023.
Born in São Vicente, Cape Verde, he began his ministry in 2002 after completing his studies at the Cape Verde Nazarene Seminary, where he served as a music education teacher for 14 years. He married Sheila Mões Baptista in the same year (2002), and they have three children together: Pedro, David, and Tiago.
He has served as an assistant pastor, youth pastor, and music pastor. He started his journey at the Mindelo Church, where he grew up, on the island of São Vicente, from 2002 to 2005. In the following years, he worked in churches on other islands, such as the Church of Ponta do Sol, the Church of Ribeira Grande (on the island of Santo Antão), and the Church of Achada de Santo Antônio (on the island of Santiago). He returned to his home island, São Vicente, where he worked at the Mindelo Church from 2007 to 2012 and at the Church of Chã de Alecrim from 2012 to 2017.
He was ordained as an elder in the Nazarene Church in 2010. For him, being part of the ministry reflects the desire to actively engage in the activities and services of a Christian community, seeking a greater purpose: the will to serve others and the need to connect with those who share the same faith.
Rev. Victor III ~ Associate Pastor
Roy Victor III has been an Associate Pastor at the International Church of the Nazarene since 2023. Born in New Bedford, MA, he attended Eastern Nazarene College and graduated from Nazarene Bible College in 2020. He was ordained in 2024 at ENC. 
He has an Outreach Ministry and a local TV program called “I Must Tell You This,” which is also on YouTube. Roy has been blessed with doing the weekly Bible Study, preaching when called, and teaching Discipleship International Class. He is excited to serve the Lord. “WE are more than Christians, we are Disciples!”
